This policy explains how REMY handles information when mortgage professionals use the service and choose to connect supported email, storage, and calendar providers.
1. Information REMY processes
REMY processes account details and, only with permission, relevant mortgage messages, PDF attachments, calendar dates, and connected cloud-storage information needed to provide requested workflow features.
2. How information is used
Information is used to identify mortgage files, organize signed commitments, surface lender conditions, create relevant calendar events, support agent checklists, and provide requested support.
3. Connected-service data
Connections to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 are optional and permission-based. REMY uses data from Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, OneDrive, Google Calendar, and Outlook Calendar only to provide features the agent requests. Access may be disconnected at any time.
REMY's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
4. When data is shared
We do not sell personal information or connected-service data, and we do not use it for advertising. Data may be processed by service providers only as needed to operate REMY, including cloud hosting, authentication, database, messaging, and error-monitoring services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
5. Storage, security, and retention
Signed mortgage documents organized by REMY are stored in your connected Google Drive or OneDrive. REMY may temporarily process document contents to identify, split, label, and organize files. REMY uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. We retain data while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
6. Your choices and rights
You may disconnect connected-service access in REMY and may also revoke access in your Google or Microsoft account settings. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your REMY account. You may request account deletion through our Account Deletion page and may stop using the service at any time.
7. Children's privacy
REMY is intended for mortgage professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
